Bankinter, a leading innovative Spanish bank has deployed Agnitio’s voice biometrics product KIVOX for automated password re-set. This is specifically for generating an automated temporary password for employees when they have forgotten their ID tokens. KIVOX is AGNITIO´s technology for speaker verification developed specifically for corporate applications. KIVOX is the most reliable and robust voice biometrics engine available worldwide.
Following a comprehensive evaluation process, Bankinter selected AGNITIO’s KIVOX product. The Spanish bank will use this tool to re-set passwords temporarily providing both security and convenience to employees to access internal systems. This is the first phase of collaboration between the two companies. Initially, Bankinter has planned to use KIVOX for internal use for all of its 3,500 employees.

KIVOX – How it works
KIVOX uses voice biometrics to verify the identity of the speaker. Employees enroll by phone in the KIVOX system by repeating a series of random digit sequences. Using this information a’ voice model’is created of each employee. When an employee forgets his/her ID token, the employee calls the internal automated phone system that is dedicated to generating a temporary password. The automated system asks the user to repeat a series of random digits for authentication purposes. Once the employee has been authenticated by KIVOX, a temporary password is communicated to the employee, reducing process times and costs.

Key benefits of the KIVOX system is that it provides enhanced security, convenience, time and cost efficiencies. This employee automated password re-set system has reduced the time callers spend by up to 95%. The process lasts less than 3 minutes for the employee.

KIVOX - About technology
KIVOX is the automatic speaker recognition system based on AGNITIO’s voice biometric technology. It enables enhanced security. KIVOX has been optimized to be used on the telephone and to enable the identification of callers through a completely automated system that interprets short messages.
KIVOX can be integrated in many diverse applications: from internal call centers with password resets, to consumer applications such as telephone banking. With KIVOX no-one will have access to a client’s bank data nor will be able to make transactions, since the “key” required is the account holder’s voice.
Furthermore, the system is flexible and can be configured in many ways according to your actual needs. For telephone banking, KIVOX can be configured as a verifier, transparent to the client, or as the first step in the verification process. In online banking, KIVOX can act as a voice signature through which transactions are confirmed by a short voice sample, preventing identity fraud.

- Caller management for Call Centers: Provides the opportunity to confirm caller ID and to certify transactions (contracting of new services, confirmation or un-blocking of credit cards, etc.)
