AGNITIO’s SEMMINAR is titled “Biometric Speaker Identification, Large Scale Speaker Identification Databases & Automatic Speaker Identification Telecom Monitoring”
The seminar will be given by Antonio Moreno, an expert in the application of Voice Biometrics in real cases of crime investigation; he specializes in the instruction of Forensic Automatic Speaker Identification including how to present the evidence within a court environment. Prior to joining AGNITIO, Mr. Moreno, worked in the Research & Development Group of the major Spanish Telco, Telefónica. He holds a Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

AGNITIO will introduce its latest product BS3 (Biometric Speaker Spotting System) that spots a particular speaker in continuous flows of telephone conversations.  The most important characteristics of BS3 are:
- Labelling the audio file, generating an alarm or sending the information to an specific repository
- Monitoring Radio and Video voice flows searching for specific speakers
- Reducing time spent supervising call interceptions

In addition, Mr. Moreno will cover a number of key areas in his discussion, including forensic laboratory use of biometric voice identification, the implementation and application of “large scale” national level Automatic Speaker Identification Systems (ASIS) -Equivalents of the AFIS fingerprint analogy- and advanced telephone speaker spotting used to identify, log and alert authorized people that a target speaker is talking on a specific monitored telecom line.

Dr. Martinez is a globally known expert in the emerging technology of Biometric Speaker Identification. He holds a PhD in Physics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid where he was Assistant Professor, and has held significant managerial, operations and research positions at Lucent Technologies (Madrid, Spain) and Bell Laboratories (Murray Hill, USA) among other organizations.
